Life

Maria Cristina Teresita Ramos (Noya), was born in La Habana, Cuba, to Dositeo Ramos of Orense, Espana, and Maria Zaya Ramos of La Habana, Cuba.

Leaving behind husband Jorge Pedro Noya, brothers Roberto Ramos (Deceased), and Oscar Luis Ramos, sons Edward De Valle II and Dennis De Valle, grandchildren, Ella, Dali, and London De Valle.

Cristina was sharp and diligent, never leaving for tomorrow what she could do today. Her career was in childhood education, where she worked as a school teacher, administrator to the school board, vice-principal, and held critical leadership roles. A leader and hero to many!

After retiring, she began working as Chief Operating Officer for her son’s companies. She managed and led teams across ten countries in the Americas and, in 2016, left that position to focus on herself, family, and making her grandchildren the center of her all.

Sadly, early in 2019, she was diagnosed with cancer, a battle not to be reckoned with. A brave and cheerful soldier on the disease’s front lines, she fought hard, so hard that she surpassed medical expert initial life expectancy.

Her family and friends are forever grateful to have been blessed with the soul of Maria Cristina Noya. May she rest in peace!
